NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will search the stars for exoplanets using the transit method. Falcon 9 will place TESS into a highly elliptical Earth orbit before the spacecraft then uses a gravity assist from the Moon to further adjust its orbit.
